Business Plan Advisors

Orientation is provided by YEK staff to answer all of your questions. The time commitment is a minimum of four 50-90 minute classroom sessions, beginning in October and running through March. These can be modified to fit your schedule and desire to help. Also, to comply with the volunteer standards of our partner school districts, you will be required to complete a non-financial background check.

Guest Speakers
Every year, each YEK class is visited by guest speakers who share their expertise and insights into their particular industry. The students use this information as they work on their business plans, to help them create realistic, viable strategies. Many students do go on to implement their businesses at some point and the advice and networking experience guest speakers provide can have lasting impact.
